Bill Miller

1967 graduate Bill Miller was an athlete at the University of Alabama before returning to PRP to teach. Serving as baseball coach, he guided the team to state championship titles in 1994, '95, and '96. He has spent more than 25 years at PRP as student, athlete, teacher and coach.

Scott Engleman

A former Paw Print writer and cartoonist, 1979 graduate and software engineer Scott Engleman is best known for starting the www.prphs.com website in March 2000. He also volunteers a website for a charity which raises funds for member agencies to provide meals and housing to the poor.

Dr. John Pollock

PRP's first Principal, Dr. John "Jack" Pollock was a WWII veteran and two-time Purple Heart recipient. After guiding PRP for its first 6 years of existence, he went on to teach at the University Of Louisville, eventually retiring as Professor Emeritus.

Athletic Director

George Kok

Standing at "5 feet and 23 inches", George Kok was PRP's first Athletic Director, laying the foundation for continually successful Panther sports programs, spending 24 years teaching at PRP. Before that, he was a basketball player at the University of Arkansas, earning a spot in the Razorback Hall of Honor and the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame.

Frank Perkins

Serving for 30 years as teacher, department head and counselor, Frank Perkins is probably best known for his accomplishments with photography and the Panther Yearbook, vital in preserving the history of PRPHS. He is responsible for many of the photographs on this website.

Meyly Hagemann

Named as one of the Courier-Journal's "10 Great Teachers" in 1980, Meyly Hagemann served more than 20 years as a humanities and English teacher and department head. Known for challenging her students to excellence, she coached PRP's High-Q quiz teams to a long string of undefeated seasons, as well as being the faculty sponsor of the school newspaper.

Ruth Ann Whitehouse

Ruth Ann Whitehouse is the recipient of the Alumni Association's Teaching Excellence Award.
